Shelby Distraught by Treatment of Veterans
U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) made the following comments today regarding the reports of poor facilities at Walter Reed Army Medical Center:
"I am outraged and appalled by the recent reports about the treatment of our servicemembers," said Senator Shelby. "Our servicemembers deserve the best facilities and care in the world. We must move swiftly to correct this massive failure, which is inexcusable on every level. To deliver anything other than the very best would be shameful."
